2027 pet registration forms due by Dec. 31

The city reminds dog and cat owners to submit their 2027 pet registrations by Dec. 31. 2027 pet licenses are available for purchase starting Monday, Nov. 2, and renewal letters will be mailed by Nov. 6. Residents can renew or register a new pet in three ways: Online (recommended): Renew an existing license or register a new pet through the Evanston V-Pay Pet License Purchasing Portal. By mail: Download and print the Evanston Pet License Application Form. Mail the completed application with a current rabies vaccination certificate and a check payable to “The City of Evanston” to: Lorraine H. Morton City Hall, City of Evanston, ATTN: City Collector’s Office, 909 Davis St., Evanston, IL 60201. Do not mail cash. In person: Bring a completed application and a current rabies vaccination certificate to any of the following city facilities during their operating hours: Robert Crown Community Center, 1801 Main St. Dr. Jorge and Luz Maria Prieto Community Center, 430 Asbury Ave.
